Finish strong, without the panic

Finish strong, without the panic

We're heading into the last quarter of the year, and a lot of people are preparing for a strong finish or just wanting to.

Over the weekend, I had back-to-back 1:1 sessions and one theme came up again and again.

"What should I even do between now and December?"

It’s that tricky in-between period.
Some people are mistaking September for the start of Q4, others are rooting for Autumn already (?) and some are frantically checking their saving pots.

There’s this subtle pressure to "make the most" of the year, while also feeling like it might be too late to turn things around. And with the sudden “great lock-in” frenzy, I'm not surprised if you're feeling a tinge of panic.

So here's what I told my clients:
  1. There's still time. 107 days, to be exact
  2. It's OK to take things at a pace that works for you
  3. Not every financial win needs to be massive or immediate
I personally love using this time of the year as a soft reset. Come January, I want to hit the ground running so I see this season as the warm up before the main race. Light-lifting tasks but with high impact that helps me feel grounded come January.

If you're reading this thinking, "that sounds like a bit of me"… whilst my 1:1 calendar is now closed for a few weeks, our Money Makeover masterclass is just around the corner.

It's perfect if you want to gather all the detail you need, along with practical steps, so come January, you're ready to hit the ground running.

You don't need to do a 180 before December.
But you can make the most of the 107.
